Just try it. You'll like it.

This is one of my many many songs. Most of these songs I will not be posting. Because I do not like them. Because they are evil and they suck. But this one is not so much. Hmm... I'd say it's nearly a year old. I just found it and thought "Hey. I'll post it." So I am posting it.

... "But I'm just a man"... I know. I know. I don't need any comments on that line.

I know you well.
I know your ways.
Though you’re hundreds of miles away.

I know you cry.
When there’s no-one there.
About the tears you’ve shed before.

I wish I could heal.
But I’m just a man
Whose love keeps threatening to break.

I know you could sleep,
If you’d let yourself wake.

[Chorus]:
We all have our problems,
But this is too much.
It’s not your fault,
It’s not your fault.
We all take falls,
But get a grip.
Just try to get back up again.
Just try… Just try…

I understood,
But what’d I do?
Just tried to get you on your feet.

I don’t know why,
I can do no right,
An explanation would be nice.

I tried to help,
So much for that.
I hope you don’t go make it worse.

I love to hate, I hate to love,
You’re my favorite curse.

[Chorus]

Very good. I know how difficult writing songs is because I've tried before. The second part after the chorus I liked a lot. Especially the line:

"I love to hate, I hate to love"

Deffenetly something evreyone can relate to when they're in a bad mood.

GRRRR I wish I could hear it sung though. Because when I read songs without the music I'm not sure how it flows. Other then that though from the lyrics it deffently would be a song that I would play 100 times while on my period and several times anytime else.

Emily: I read your comment, and I decided that I really should make a tune, write it down and stick with it... So I went up in my room with my keyboard, and, note by note, wrote down the tune. I am now entering into my spiffy new software that makes sheet music (very cool!) and I'll print it out when I'm done. Good luck getting me to sing it though. :P

Yeah, the only part of songwriting I can do is the vocals. Lyrics and melody. I'm hopeless with instruments.

Kaisha: Thank you very muchly.
